When you’re navigating fertility treatment, it can feel like your body is working overtime from hormone injections to the emotional rollercoaster that comes with every appointment. One piece that’s often overlooked? Your immune system.
A healthy immune system supports your body’s resilience through the ups and downs of treatment, stress, and everyday life. And one of my favorite gentle ways to give it some extra love is through a daily herbal tea I call my immuniTEA.
🩺 Why Immune Support Matters During Fertility Treatment
Your immune and reproductive systems are more connected than most people realize. When your immune system is overactive or run down, it can create inflammation that affects hormonal balance and the reproductive environment.
During treatment, supporting your immune health can help you:
Maintain better hormone stability
Reduce inflammation in the reproductive system
Support overall energy and recovery
Avoid cycle delays due to illness
You don’t need anything extreme, sometimes it’s about consistent, nourishing choices that keep your body in balance.

💡 Nurse note: Always check with your healthcare provider before introducing new herbs or supplements, especially during IVF or early pregnancy.
☕ How to Make It a Daily Ritual
Whether you’re craving something cozy or refreshing, immuniTEA can easily fit into your day. It’s blended loose leaf so you can brew it hot by the cup or cold by the pitcher whatever your body (and schedule) needs.
Here is the tea kettle I use to make this process easy and seamless.
Hot:
Scoop 1–2 tablespoons of immuniTEA into a tea infuser.
Add 8 - 10 oz of boiling hot water and steep for 10–15 minutes. Sweeten with honey (highly recommend!)
Iced:
To make a full 64 oz pitcher, use the full bag of loose leaf tea and steep in boiling hot water for 15–20 minutes. Once cooled, store it in the fridge and enjoy throughout the week.
I love keeping a big jug of iced immuniTEA on hand, it’s my go-to when I want something hydrating, flavorful, and functional. It’s an easy way to get a daily dose of immune and antioxidant support without overthinking it.
You can grab your own loose leaf immuniTEA bag through Elderberry by the Shore where each bag makes multiple 64 oz pitchers or several cozy cups.
🌸 A Gentle Reminder
Supporting your fertility isn’t just about protocols and procedures, it’s about nourishment. Every small, intentional act of care supports your nervous system, your hormones, and your sense of calm.
Your body does better when it feels safe, supported, and nourished.
And sometimes, that support starts with something as simple as a warm cup of tea.
